Our Toddler program is catered for children 18 months to 2 years old.

This curriculum is full of activities that allow children to grow physically, intellectually and emotionally and enables them to learn through play.  Teachers respect each child as a unique individual and encourage them to express themselves with freedom and confidence.

The Toddler program uses hands-on exploration and socialization to help your child engage with his or her expanding world. Fine and gross motor skills are developed through daily participation in music, art, story time, dramatic play, and outdoor play. Teachers help foster self-help skills by modeling appropriate behavior.

As Young Toddlers, children were introduced to a more routine structure, and as Toddlers they are able to participate in slightly more complex concepts, activities and games. Teachers also begin to help with potty training, which is approached according to each child’s individual needs. When a toddler begins to develop the verbal skills necessary to express their needs, and shows an interest in taking the next step, we work in collaboration with the child and parents on potty training. Our bathrooms are equipped with child-sized toilets and sinks for easy access.

The staff is trained in CPR and first aid.  The group size and ratio of adults to toddlers is limited to 1:4, allowing for a lot of one-to-one interaction, intimate knowledge of individual children, confidence building and consistent care.
